Headquartered
on the east coast, a major broadcast facility was interested
in bolstering its
Southern California presence by building a complimentary broadcast
facility. The extensive experience of Syska Hennessy Group’s
Sports Entertainment Team was brought to bear in the design
of this new facility. The new center will produce live and
taped
programming for the network's growing family of sports channels
and will include two 7,500 sq ft and 5,000 sq ft state-of-the-art,
high-definition television studios, master control rooms, production
control rooms, a central equipment room, newsroom, MIS equipment
room, screening room and edit rooms.
Syska Hennessy Group was commissioned to complete both the design
and core/shell services of the facility based on our technical
understanding of broadcast facility design and our presence in
the Downtown Los Angeles area (L.A. Live Development).
