 Lobby of the 2000 Avenue of the Stars
The project – a redevelopment of the 30-year old former
ABC Entertainment Center – consists of a 790,000 sq. ft.
12-story office tower, 45,000 sq. ft. of destination dining; a
retail/café promendade; 10,000 sq. ft. cultural center and
3.75-acre landscape park. Included in the scope was a central plant
designed on the roof of the building.

Innovations and Solutions:
Syska Hennessy Group’s innovative design utilitizes the latest automation
technology suitable for the “office of the future”. Engineering
solutions were presented to optimize energy consumption with
built in flexibility. In addition, a lifecycle analysis was completed to
determine the payback of engineering a central plant on the roof of the
building versus a third party central plant facility. Syska was also engaged
to provide MEP Design services for the fit-out of Creative Artist Agency,
Annenberg Foundation and Imperial Capital amonst others.
