Syska Hennessy Group participated in New York Presbyterian’s major modernization project as a prominent member of the design team retained to plan the construction of the new Greenberg Pavilion and the renovation of existing hospital’s electronic building systems. Our collaborative role included the comprehensive development of schematic design documents, performance specifications, and CAD drawings required to accommodate the wide variety of technologies demanded in leading edge health delivery systems. Syska performed an extensive review and evaluation of all hospital security systems including access control and closed circuit television. Its findings and recommendations assisted in assuring that the appropriate and desired levels of protection are provided to the hospital and its patients. In addition, Syska performed similar evaluations of all fire & life safety, building automation and control systems.
