On-site renewable energy includes a variety of current and burgeoning technologies; though most of our achievements have been in the photovoltaic arena, other technologies such as solar thermal, building integrated wind, and biomass have shown great promise. Generating clean energy onsite provides the primary and obvious benefits of a reduced carbon footprint, reduced environmental impact, and reduced demand for new power plants. However, it also distributes and decentralizes power generation which improves power reliability.

Our premiere project is a 2 MW PV array that is a part of the King Abdullah Petroleum Science and Research Complex. Syska is fully designing the PV and electrical side of this system. Amongst others, we have also integrated a 40 kW array into the roof of the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, the Wild Center.
