NEW YORK, NY – April 8, 2008 - James Coe,
PE, Christopher Johnston, PE, and Carol Fern, PE, LEED® AP
have been named senior vice presidents at Syska Hennessy Group,
a leading consulting, engineering, technology, and construction
firm.
Based in
Atlanta, James Coe joined Syska Hennessy in 2006. Since
then, he has contributed substantially to the growth of
the firm’s Southeast Region Critical Facilities
Group, and in late 2007 he became the national operations
manager of the firm’s Critical Facilities operations. Mr. Coe has over 20 years
of experience in engineering operations, project management,
and design. A licensed professional engineer in 35 states, he received
an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology. He is a member of the National
Society of Professional Engineers.
Also based in Atlanta, Christopher Johnston brings 37 years
of professional experience to his position as chief engineer
for Syska Hennessy’s National Critical Facilities team. He
has been actively involved in the design of critical facility projects
for corporate and institutional clients throughout the U.S.
and internationally. A licensed professional engineer in
four states, Mr. Johnston earned a B.S. degree in electrical
engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member
of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Carol A. Fern has been a driving force in Syska Hennessy’s
Healthcare Market Focus group since joining the firm in
2004. Based in the Los Angeles office, she is responsible for managing
the National Healthcare team in the western United States. Ms.
Fern received both her BS and Masters degrees in mechanical
engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
