NEW YORK, NY – May 9, 2008 – Syska Hennessy Group, a global leader in consulting, engineering, technology and construction, has expanded its operations in Asia to take advantage of a growing project base and opportunities for new business in the region.

As part of the expansion, Ing Lim, a Vice President, will be relocating to Shanghai, China to serve as Managing Director of China operations. In addition, the firm has named Hie Jae Kim, PE, Senior Vice President and Director of Korean projects.

Syska Hennessy is currently working on several major projects in Korea, including a new office complex for Samsung Group in Seoul, a new telecommunications R&D center for Samsung in Suwon, and the Hyundai Udong I’Park complex in Busan which comprises four high-rise residential towers and a high-rise hotel. In China, Syska Hennessy is part of a consulting team that is designing a new financial center and corporate campus in Shanghai for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

Born and raised in Korea, Hie Jae Kim is a licensed professional engineer with more than 37 years of experience, 20 of which have been with Syska Hennessy Group in New York. He specializes in building systems design of trading floors, data centers, and other critical facilities. He holds a Masters of Science as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University.

Ing Lim has 20 years of experience focused on the engineering design and management of healthcare related projects, including hospitals, specialized medical facilities and labs. He is a graduate of Southwestern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
