United Airlines Terminal
Participated in design and production phases as mechanical and electrical
consultants to the architects and engineers for a new terminal
totaling 1,200,000 sq. ft. Also responsible for design review and
quality assurance. This project replaced several existing terminals
with new facilities capable of handling long and short haul operations.
Special engineering features include a centralized water distribution
system for aircraft cooling, high-temperature hot water for heating
and chilled water for cooling from on-site distribution mains,
independent air conditioning units, second contingency network
power, automated lighting control, fire and life safety systems,
and smoke control systems.
