One of the  largest Convention Centers in North America, the expansion project for the San Diego Convention Center doubled the size of the conference center to 2.6 million gross square feet.

Innovations and Solutions:
The 90,000 square foot Sails Pavilion was enhanced with such features as a new cooling and heating system for complete comfort all year round as well as energy-efficient lighting systems. Syska’s Vertical Transportation Specialists provided analysis and cost estimate for proposed expansion of existing facility. The concepts studied included multiple truck lifts to move exhibit materials to elevated exhibit space.
