 Los Angeles Regional Showroom for Haworth Inc.
Haworth, Inc. is a world leader in the design and manufacturing
of adaptable workspace environments. They are committed to sustainable
processes and to incorporating them in their products, consulting
services, and their own facilities. Syska Hennessy Group was selected
to complete the MEP design and provide LEED® consulting for
multiple aspects of their integrated West Coast Showroom – located
in Santa Monica, CA – and helped the Showroom to achieve
LEED CI (Commercial Interiors) Gold certification.

is achievable, and with only minimal impact to overall project

The tenant improvement project was certified through the USGBC
under the CI Pilot Program, and consists of one (1) floor of
office type occupancy totaling approximately 18,000 sq. ft. The
space includes the renovation of staff open office spaces, conference
rooms, presentation space, and product showroom spaces.
Sustainable strategies incorporated that helped achieve a LEED® Certified
rating included:
- Occupant-controlled Under Floor Air System
- High efficiency Lighting Systems with daylight dimming controls
- Renewable Material: Cork, Wheatboard and Forest-Stewardship Council
certified wood
- Floor-To-Ceiling Windows providing natural lighting
- Flow Plumbing Fixtures for water conservation
