The Los Angeles Clippers, have
been in Los Angeles since 1984, and have never had
a training facility to call their own. Syska Hennessy Group
was engaged by the architect to provide building systems design,
technology and architectural lighting design services for a mixed-use
building in which the team will practice and work-out in both the
season and off-season.

Innovations and Solution:
The Clippers sought to utilize new technology for training
purposes and monitoring player progress. The selected equipment
measures heart rates along with treadmill slope and pace and downloads
this information directly into the Clippers’ network. Standard
wireless coverage throughout the entire facility enhances connectivity
and offers access to the entire network.
